Merittrac Services - India'S Largest Skills Assessment Company is located over at 707, Park View Apartments in Sec 56, Gurgaon. It might seem a bit strange to have such a big name in a place like Park View Apartments, but that is where we are. We spend our days up on the seventh floor doing all the assessment work and keeping things organized. Gurgaon is always noisy and there is always some construction happening nearby so we hear a lot of that through the windows. The office is basically a few rooms filled with desks and papers. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, it's just one of us getting the door if someone knocks. We do a lot of skills testing which keeps the computers humming all day long. The view from the 707 apartment is alright, you can see some of the other buildings and the traffic down below on the main road. We’ve got a little kitchen where we keep the fridge and a microwave for lunch. Most of us just bring food from home. It’s a practical place to work and we don’t spend much time worrying about how it looks to outsiders. We just focus on the lists and the data we have to process. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town and we’re used to the pace of things. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily pile of work.
