Mehta Print Works

Mehta Print Works is over in Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar. Our shop is at L1/2. If you know New Delhi, you know Uttam Nagar is a very packed and busy place. Our shop is no different. It’s usually smelling of ink and the machines are almost always running. We have been here in Mohan Garden for quite some time now. It’s a small space, but we have managed to fit all the printing equipment we need. Sometimes the noise of the machines makes it hard to hear the customers, so we have to step outside to talk. It is a very hands-on type of business. We are usually covered in some sort of ink or dust by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just the workshop where the real work happens. People from the neighborhood bring in all sorts of jobs, from small fliers to bigger print runs. We just take the orders, tell them when it will be ready, and get to work. Delhi is a tough city for moving goods, so we try to keep our deliveries local when possible. The streets around L1/2 are narrow and always full of people, so it keeps things interesting. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we just print what people need and try to keep the machines from breaking down. It’s a simple, honest living in a busy part of town.
