Ace International

Ace International operates out of Plot No 73 in Sector 5. It is a fairly quiet street compared to some of the other industrial blocks nearby. We have a decent sized warehouse space where we keep all the stock. The shelves go up pretty high, so we have to use the ladder quite often. Most of the day is spent checking invoices and making sure the right items are going into the right boxes. We have a few desks in the front for the admin work, but most of the action happens in the back. The ventilation could be better, especially in the afternoons, but we make do with what we have. Sometimes the delivery drivers get confused because the numbering on this street is a bit odd. We usually have to go stand by the road to wave them in. It is not a very complicated business, just moving goods from one place to another. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee during the long shifts. The floor is concrete and shows a lot of wear from the pallets being dragged around. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that for visitors. If someone comes by, they usually just talk to us right there on the warehouse floor. We have been in Sector 5 for several years now and we like the location well enough. It is a practical spot for getting things shipped out.
