Our spot is in Shivaji Nagar in Gurgaon, which is a bit of a change from the busier parts of the city. We are part of the Ramtrx Overseas team, and mostly we handle the personnel side of things from here. The office is at number 2/33, and it's a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads. We deal with a lot of paperwork for people going abroad or coming back. It involves a lot of checking documents and making sure everyone has what they need for their travel or work. Sometimes it feels like we are just buried under piles of folders, but that is the job. The building is simple, and we know our neighbors pretty well since we've been here for a bit. Gurgaon has grown so much lately, but this little corner still feels like a regular neighborhood. We don't really go for anything flashy or corporate. Most days involve a lot of typing and talking to people on the phone about their applications and status. It gets dusty in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long to stay cool. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby tiffin service or a dhabha around the corner. We aren't some giant headquarters with glass walls. We are just a group of people working in Shivaji Nagar, trying to keep the overseas stuff moving along smoothly for everyone involved. It takes a lot of patience to get the details right.
