We operate as fabricators out here in Uttar Pradesh. We’re currently set up c/o Mr. S.K. Gupta. It’s a practical arrangement that works for the kind of metalwork we do. Our days are mostly spent cutting, welding, and putting things together. It’s noisy and there are sparks flying around quite a bit, so we always have to be careful. Fabrication isn't exactly clean work. You end up with grease and metal dust on your clothes by the end of the shift. We don't really have a fancy office for meetings. Usually, we just talk to people right there on the shop floor where all the tools are. We’ve worked on a lot of different things over the years, from simple frames to more complex metal structures. Every job is a bit different, which keeps it from getting boring. The weather in UP can be tough, either too hot or too cold, but the work has to get done regardless. We rely on a small group of guys who know their way around a welding torch. It’s a lot about having a steady hand and a bit of patience when things don't line up perfectly the first time. We just take it piece by piece. We aren't doing any big marketing campaigns. Most people find us because they saw something we built for someone else. It’s just honest labor and getting the metal to do what it’s supposed to do. That’s how we’ve always done it. We stay here until the last weld is finished.
