L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros. Ltd.

Working at L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros. Ltd. means dealing with the heavy traffic on N.H. No. 8 almost every single morning. We are located over in Block-B of Begampur Khatola, and if you know the area, you know how packed it gets with all the trailers and delivery vans. Our place is at Plot No.17 in Sector 3 of Imt Manesar. It’s a huge industrial hub and there is never a quiet moment around here. The building itself is quite plain, just a lot of concrete and metal like everything else in this part of town. We spend a lot of time moving things around the warehouse floor. It’s a lot of physical work and the air usually smells like grease and cardboard. Sometimes the fans don’t really help when it’s the middle of summer. We have a lot of guys who have been here for years and we all just kind of know the routine. We handle a lot of parts and shipping containers. The paperwork can be a real headache sometimes especially when the internet acts up. You can hear the highway noise from the back of the lot all day long. It isn't a glamorous job but it is steady. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the orders are ready to go when the trucks show up at the gate. Manesar is just like that, busy and loud.
