The office is down on the ground floor in Sushant Lok 2, right in Sector 57 of Gurgaon. We've been here for a while now, just handling the day-to-day contracting work that comes through. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and people coming in and out to check on project schedules. It's a busy spot but we keep things moving. The space is simple, nothing fancy, just a place to get the job done. We spend a lot of time on the phones and looking at site plans. Sometimes the traffic in Gurgaon makes getting here a bit of a trek, but once we're in, it’s mostly focused work. We deal with various aspects of the projects Leighton is involved with across the region. It's not always quiet, especially when the crews come in for meetings. We handle things as they come. There's usually a stack of files on someone's desk and the kettle is almost always on. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big shiny lobby. We just focus on the task at hand. It gets a bit hot in the summer months but the AC usually holds up. People around here know us as the place where the building side of things gets organized. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the list of things that need doing before the day ends. It's just a regular work day here in Gurgaon.
