If you are ever driving around Pataudi Chock in Gurgaon, you will find us at 10A/22 in the Laxmi Garden area. The smell of fresh-cut wood is the first thing you notice when you walk into our yard. We have been running this timber store for quite some time, and we’ve seen Gurgaon turn from a quiet place into a massive city. We stock all kinds of timber for different needs, whether someone is making a simple shelf or building a whole house. The yard can get a bit messy, especially when we have a big shipment coming in or when it rains and the ground gets muddy. We don't have a fancy showroom; we just have piles of wood and a small desk where we do the billing. Most of our customers are locals or carpenters who have been buying from us for years. They know we don't do the whole polished sales routine. We just show them what we have, tell them the price, and help them load it onto their trucks. It’s hard work moving the heavy logs and planks around all day, but we enjoy being outdoors and working with our hands. Sometimes the traffic at the chock makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get in, but we always manage to figure it out eventually. We take our time to make sure everyone gets exactly the wood they need.
