Surat Nagar in Gurgaon has changed a lot since we set up Krishna Const. Pvt. Ltd at H.No. 2339/28B. Being in Phase II means we’re surrounded by a lot of other small businesses and houses, so it’s never quiet. Our office is basically a hub for different workers and suppliers coming and going throughout the day. You’ll see plenty of dusty boots near the door because we’re always coming back from some site or another. Gurgaon is full of high-rises now, but we focus more on the local construction needs that regular people have. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the sand arrives and the laborers are there on time. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck getting stuck or a pipe leaking, and we have to drop everything to go fix it. That's the reality of construction that people don't always see. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth in 122 001 usually keeps us busy enough. Our desks are covered in sticky notes and old drawings that we haven't gotten around to filing yet. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is currently on the schedule.
