Our office is number 11 in The Emporium, right in Gurgaon. It’s a busy spot near the DPSG School and very close to the Puri Diplomatic Green area in Sector 111. If you know the Dwarka Expressway, you know how much construction has been going on lately. There is always a lot of dust and the sound of heavy machinery around us. We moved here because so many new apartments are coming up in this part of Gurgaon. We spend most of our time visiting these new sites, trying to figure out how to make these empty concrete shells feel a bit more like home. It’s a lot of coordination. One day we are talking to a glass supplier and the next we are arguing with a contractor about the finish on a cabinet. We don’t really have a polished way of talking about our work. It’s just about getting the labor to do their job and making sure the client isn't stressed out. The office isn't anything special, just a place to keep our files and meet with people who live nearby. We’ve seen the expressway grow from nothing, and we’ve been here through all the changes. It’s a lot of work, and the days are long, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now with the local vendors and the workers who know how we like things done.
