We run Kaushalya Construction here in New Delhi. It has been a while since we started out. My name is tied to the business, and if you are wondering about the address detail, yeah, I was the National Level Pool Player Ranking Delhi No.2 back in 1998. That feels like a lifetime ago now. Mostly we just focus on the building work these days. Delhi is a busy place and there is always something needing to be fixed or built from scratch. We spend most of our time out on sites across the city. It is hard work, mostly outdoors, and it gets really hot in the summer months, but we keep at it. Some days are longer than others. We aren't a big fancy office type of operation. It is just us doing what needs to be done. We have been around the New Delhi area for a long time. People know where to find us. Sometimes work takes us to different corners of the city, and traffic is always a bit of a nightmare, but that is just part of living here. We handle the day-to-day stuff and try to stay organized with our tools and materials. It is a straightforward way to make a living. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and do the job. Sometimes neighbors ask about the pool thing, but mostly they just want to know when the brickwork will be finished. We try to be honest about how long things take. It isn't always easy but we stay busy enough.
