Kaanch Stained Glass Studio

Kaanch Stained Glass Studio is located at D 242 in Sushantlok Phase I. It is more of a quiet working space than a typical retail store you might see in a mall. We spend our time here dealing with stained glass, which is a very slow and careful process. It is not like regular glass work where you just cut it and you are done. We have to spend a lot of time thinking about colors and how all the small pieces will fit together in the end. The studio is often filled with bits of colored glass, rolls of lead, and various sketches. It can get a bit cluttered and messy, honestly, but that is how we work best. We are tucked away in Phase I, so it is a lot quieter than being on a main commercial street. This is nice when you are trying to focus on very small details or soldering a joint. We started this studio because we really liked working with our hands. It is just a few of us here. We do not do any big advertising or marketing. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby in the Sushantlok area. Sometimes we have large projects spread out all over the tables for weeks at a time. It is a lot of sitting and making sure every single piece is lined up perfectly. It is not a fast-paced environment at all. We just work on one thing until it is finished. The lighting in the studio is okay, but we are always moving things around to see.
