Jojo Marble

Jojo Marble is located over in Sector 4 of Manesar, specifically in the Kasan area, plot 142. It’s a bit out of the main city, so things are a little slower here but the space is good for storing stone. We have piles of marble slabs everywhere. Marble is a tough business because it’s heavy and you can’t make mistakes when cutting it. We spend a lot of time just moving stones around with the crane or by hand. The yard is usually white with stone dust. It gets on your clothes and your hair, but we don’t mind it much. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. We just have the stone and we sell it to whoever needs it for their house or project. We have a few guys working the saws and one person in the small shack we use as an office. It’s a practical setup. Sometimes customers come all the way out here to look at the patterns in the stone. We show them what we have, tell them the price, and that’s it. Manesar has changed a lot, but this bit of Sector 4 still feels like the old days. We just keep our heads down and keep the marble moving. It’s a decent way to spend the day. There is always a lot of work to do and stones to move.
