Jobsmart

Jobsmart is based at J-1059 in Devendra Vihar, Sector 56, Gurgaon. This is a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main roads of the city. We work as a recruitment agency from here. It’s not a huge operation, just a small group of us in this office. We spend most of our time looking through job applications and trying to see who fits where. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of phone calls. The office feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes because of the location. We like it that way because it makes the candidates feel a bit more at ease when they come to see us. There isn’t any corporate jargon used here. We just talk to people like they are people. Sometimes we have to deal with internet issues or the power cutting out, which is pretty common around here. We just take it in stride and keep moving. The work is steady and we have a good routine. We don't have a big sign outside or anything. People usually find us because they need a job and someone told them about us. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in Gurgaon, just trying to do a good job for the people who walk through our door. It’s a humble setup and it suits us just fine for the kind of work we do every single day. We stay busy without making much noise.
