Jay Bharat Murati Ltd. is located out in Sector 36 Mohammadpur Jharsa. If you know the area, you know it is a bit of a trek to get out here but we have been here for a good while. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens. It is usually hot, and the machines make a lot of noise, but that is just part of the job. We have a small crew and everyone pretty much knows what they are supposed to be doing without being told. There is a lot of heavy lifting and moving parts around. We try to keep things organized but by Wednesday the floor is usually covered in metal shavings and tools. We eat lunch together in the small room at the back. Usually, someone brings a newspaper and we talk about the cricket scores or the traffic on the way in. The office side of things is just two desks and a lot of ledgers. It is not the kind of place you see in a brochure. It is a practical space for practical work. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big order to get out the door by Friday. We just do the work and go home to our families. It is a steady life here in Mohammadpur Jharsa and we are used to the rhythm of the machines. There is no point in making it sound fancier than it is.
