We are located at 510. New Colony. It’s a pretty easy place to find once you get into the neighborhood. Jamnagar Golden Impex India Pvt. Ltd. might sound like a big name, but we are just a group of people working out of a regular building here. The New Colony area is mostly quiet, which is nice for getting work done without too much distraction. We deal with import and export stuff, so there’s always a lot of paperwork and boxes moving in and out. The front room is where we keep the main desk and the phone. It rings quite a bit, mostly people asking about shipments or where their stuff is. We try to be honest with them, even if there’s a delay at the port or something like that. We don't have a corporate handbook for how to talk to people. We just speak like normal folks. We have tea twice a day and sometimes we order lunch from the place down the street. The office can get a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. It’s a small operation compared to some of those big firms in the city, but we like it this way. We get to know the people we are doing business with. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We’ve been at 510 for a while and have no plans to go anywhere else anytime soon. It suits us.
