Isolux Corsan, S.A

This is the Chennai office for Isolux Corsan, S.A., and we are based over in Puliamedu Village. If you are coming to find us, we are at Plot No. 105 on the 2nd Main Road, specifically near 6th Cross Street in Moogambigai Nagar. I work here with Mr. S. Subbiah. It is a bit of a trek out to this part of Chennai, but it is where we have our setup for handling the local business. We deal with large-scale projects, mostly in the power and construction sectors, but our day-to-day is much more grounded. It involves a lot of phone calls to site managers and checking on equipment arrivals at the port. The office is simple and functional. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts; it is just desks and chairs and a lot of box files. The humidity in Chennai can be a real pain, so the fans are always spinning in here. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and technical drawings. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work that doesn't leave much room for error. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to make sure the projects we are responsible for keep moving forward without hitting too many roadblocks. Sometimes the local roads around here get flooded when it rains hard, which makes getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we always manage to open up on time. It’s just the way it is. We stay busy enough throughout the week.
