International school of design

We are located up on the 7th floor of the Ild Trade Center on Sohna Road in Gurgaon. Being in unit 709 means we have a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just other buildings and the traffic below. It is easy to tell people where we are because we are right near the Bikanerwala and KFC. Most of our day at the International school of design is spent around drawing tables and computers. It’s a busy place with people coming in and out for different classes. Sometimes the elevators take a long time, so we have to plan for that. It isn’t some quiet, empty office; there is usually someone working on a sketch or talking about a new project. We have a few rooms set up for different types of design work. The walls are covered in bits of paper and ideas. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the materials lying around, but that is how it goes when you are working on this kind of stuff. We have been in Gurgaon for a while now. The air conditioning is always running because the sun hits our windows pretty hard in the afternoon. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just what we need to teach and work. It feels like a practical place where people actually do things instead of just talking. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks.
