International Land Developers Ltd

This office is based at Rz 3287/37 on the third floor in the Tuglakabad Extension area of New Delhi. It is where International Land Developers Ltd handles a lot of the back-office stuff that goes into land development. The climb up to the third floor keeps us somewhat fit, though we definitely feel it on the hotter days. The office itself is full of maps and stacks of documents. We do not really bother with much decoration because we are usually too busy to look at the walls anyway. It is a practical workspace. We have got a few desks pushed together and a kettle that is almost always running. Outside, Tuglakabad is its usual busy self, with narrow lanes and lots of activity. We have been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors and the shopkeepers downstairs. It is the kind of place where things are always happening. Our day usually starts early and ends whenever the work is finished. There is no strict clock-watching here. If a project needs attention, we stay until it is sorted. We deal with land, so there is a lot of waiting for approvals and checking on site details. It is not always exciting, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the records are in order and the plans are clear for the next day of work.
