Our office is up on the 4th floor of Tower A in Building 10, over in DLF Cyber City. If you’ve been to Gurgaon, you know how busy this area gets. It’s all glass buildings and people in formal clothes rushing around. We work on the infrastructure side of mobile phones, mostly dealing with towers and all the technical stuff that keeps the signals going. It’s a large office because there are a lot of moving parts to manage every single day. We have plenty of meeting rooms where we sit and talk about maintenance schedules and network coverage. It’s not a place where we sell phones or plans to the public. Most of what we do is behind the scenes. The office is pretty standard with cubicles and a few coffee machines that get a lot of use from the staff. You can see the city through the windows, but most of us are usually focused on our monitors. It’s a fast-paced environment because when a tower goes down, people notice it immediately. We spend a lot of time on calls with field teams to fix things. It’s a lot of logistics and technical planning. We just try to keep the lights on and the towers working so everyone else can stay connected. It’s a big operation, but we just focus on our specific tasks and get through the workday.
