Our office is in Room 314 of the Galleria Tower in DLF-4. It’s a pretty busy building with a lot going on. Even though we’re in a modern tower, we deal with something very old-fashioned: herbs. When we get samples in, the whole office starts smelling like dried leaves and roots. It’s a nice change from the usual office smells. We spend most of our time communicating with growers and making sure the quality is what it should be. We aren't scientists, but we’ve learned a lot about different plants over time. We check the moisture content and make sure there’s no dirt mixed in where it shouldn't be. The paperwork for exporting herbs can be a real headache. There are a lot of rules about what can go where. We spend hours making sure every form is filled out correctly. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, typing away and talking on the phone. We grab lunch at the shops downstairs in the Galleria. It’s a convenient spot to be, especially on rainy days when you don't want to go far. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a handful of us making sure the orders are processed. Sometimes a shipment gets stuck at the border and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just part of the routine. We don't make big promises; we just try to get the herbs delivered without any fuss.
