If you head down Mata Road into Rajiv Nagar and find Gali number 6, that’s where we are. House number 1320/3. It’s a busy little neighborhood. We call ourselves Hr Recruitment. It’s exactly what it sounds like. We spend our days looking for people who need work and companies that need help. It’s a lot of paperwork. Gurgaon is a big city and there’s always someone looking for a job. We started out in this small office because it was affordable and close to where we lived. We don't have a big sign outside or anything. Usually, people just know we are here. The street can get pretty crowded with bikes and people, especially in the mornings. Our office is just a few rooms with some tables and chairs. We have a computer that’s a bit slow, but it gets the job done. We don't use any fancy software, just the basic stuff. We talk to people all day. Some are happy, some are stressed because they need a job. We listen and try to help. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We’ve been in Rajiv Nagar for quite a few years now. We know the people around here. It feels like a community. We just keep doing what we do, day after day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and start back up. That is our way of doing things here.
