Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co

We are based at the Palliyalil House in Pattiparambu, which is a small village near Thiruvilwamala in the Thrissur district of Kerala. It might seem like a quiet spot for a company involved in heavy engineering and shipbuilding, but this is our main base for managing things. The house is an old family property, and we have set up our office rooms right here among the trees and the greenery. It is a much more peaceful way to work than being in a crowded city center. We spend our days going over technical plans and talking to our teams who are out at the actual sites. Since we are in Kerala, the rain can be quite heavy for many months of the year, so we spend a lot of time inside looking out at the yard. We have a few big tables where we spread out the ship designs and engineering drawings. It’s not a high-tech office with glass walls; it’s just a home that we use for our business. Most of the people who work here are relatives or neighbors from the Thrissur area. We have a lot of tea and snacks while we discuss the projects. People in the village know us well, and they often stop by the gate for a chat. We just keep our heads down and focus on the engineering side of things, making sure the ship plans are solid before they go out.
