Our office is tucked away in DLF City Phase I at B 13/5. It’s a relatively quiet corner compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer for getting things done. The building itself is standard for the area, nothing too flashy on the outside, but it serves us well. Inside, the space is divided up into a few work areas where we spend most of our time staring at screens or talking through different ideas. There’s a small kitchen area where we usually end up congregating around lunch, mostly just eating and talking about everything except work. The air conditioning can be a bit loud during the summer months, but nobody really complains as long as it stays cool. We have a lot of samples and blueprints lying around, often spilling over from the tables onto the chairs. It’s not the most polished environment, but it feels like a place where real work happens. Most of us have been coming here every day for years, so we’ve got our routines down. The stairs are a bit steep, and the lighting in the hallway can be flickery, but we’ve stopped noticing those things after a while. It’s just our daily spot where we put in the hours and try to keep things moving forward without too much fuss or ceremony. We like being in Phase I; it feels established and familiar, even if the parking is sometimes a bit of a headache.
