We’re located at House No 962 in Sector-9A of Gurgaon. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s got a bit of a different feel than the big commercial hubs in Haryana. Being in a house makes the workday feel a little less stiff. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and use the kitchen for our breaks. It’s a consultancy, so there’s a lot of talking and planning going on throughout the day. Gurgaon can be quite loud and dusty, but Sector-9A is okay. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local chai wallah and the security guards on the street. We don’t have a big HR department or anything like that. If something needs doing, one of us just does it. It’s honest work. We deal with resources and growth, but we don't use those words to sound important. It’s just what the files say. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we know each other's habits. The office gets a lot of sunlight in the mornings which is nice during the winters. We just keep things rolling, managing the day-to-day stuff without making it more difficult than it needs to be. It's a steady pace here, and we like it that way. The neighbors are mostly families, so we keep the noise down and just focus on the computer work. It's a comfortable spot for us.
