Golden Creepers Farm Retreat

Out here in Village Chandu, things move a lot slower than in the city. Golden Creepers Farm Retreat is situated near Sultanpur Lake. If you’re coming our way, you’ll pass the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School and we’re just behind it. It’s a lot of open space and fresh air, which is a nice change of pace. We spend most of our time outdoors tending to the grounds or making sure things are ready for visitors. It’s a farm retreat, so there’s always something growing or something that needs watering. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it feels good to be working with the land. The proximity to the lake means we get some interesting birds passing through. We aren't a luxury hotel or anything like that. It’s a farm, so there’s dirt and bugs and the weather dictates what we do each day. We have some basic buildings where we keep our tools and take our breaks. Village Chandu is a quiet community and we like being part of it. We try to keep the place looking decent without making it look too artificial. It’s just a patch of land where we work and try to keep things green. Sometimes the school nearby gets a bit noisy during recess, but otherwise, it’s just the sound of the wind and the lake.
