Gold Gym

Our gym is spread across three floors—the first, second, and third—of the Vaishali Archade in H Block, Palam Vihar. It is right near the Axis Bank, so it is pretty easy to spot when you are in the area. Having three floors sounds like a lot of space, but it really just helps us keep the different types of equipment separated so things do not get too cramped during peak hours. We have got a lot of cardio stuff on one level and the heavier weights and machines on another. It takes some getting used to, walking up and down the stairs between your sets, but you can just look at it as a bit of extra exercise for the day. We are not the newest place in Gurgaon, and you can probably tell by looking at some of the older machines, but they are solid and they do what they are supposed to do. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming since we first opened up. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings before the offices open up for the day. We spend most of our time just re-racking weights that people leave lying around and making sure the water cooler stays full. It is a basic, functional gym for the Palam Vihar crowd. We do not have a lot of fancy lights or a DJ, just the usual gym music and the sound of people working out together.
