Gateway Rail Freight Limited is based over at 122/9 Shivpuri in Gurgaon. Gurgaon has changed a lot, but our little corner in Shivpuri stays pretty much the same. We deal with freight, which means we’re thinking about trains and big containers all day long. The office is fairly simple. We have some maps on the wall and a lot of computers. It’s not a high-rise office with glass walls. It’s a practical space where we can talk and get the work done. Dealing with rail freight means we have to coordinate with a lot of different people. It can be a bit of a headache when schedules change, but that’s the nature of the business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking shipments online. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time. We don’t have a marketing department to write fancy things about us. We’re just a team of people who understand how to move large amounts of goods across the country. The area around Shivpuri is quite busy, and we’ve become a part of the landscape here. It’s a straightforward job. We don’t use big words or make huge promises. We just look at the rail schedules and try to make everything line up. It's not glamorous, but it’s what we do every day here in Haryana. We take our work as it comes and try to stay organized.
