We are Gandhi Glass Tech, and our place is at 171 M G Road. Being on M G Road means it's always busy outside. We work with glass, mostly the technical kind for buildings and industrial use. It is a delicate business because glass breaks easily if you aren't careful. We've had our share of accidents over the years, but you learn from them. The shop has all kinds of cutting tools and polishing machines. It’s quite loud when the cutters are running. We aren't salespeople; we are more like technicians who understand how glass behaves under pressure or heat. The office is part of the same building, and it’s always got a bit of glass dust on the surfaces despite our cleaning. We've been at 171 for a long time. People come to us when they have a specific need for glass that isn't just a standard window. It’s a specialized field. We spend a lot of time measuring and double-checking dimensions because there isn't much room for error in this trade. It’s a solid local business. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us making sure the orders go out correctly. The traffic on M G Road makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we make it work.
