We are based at 102 in DLF City Phase I. It’s a regular building and we’ve been here for a good while. The space is filled with different works, and we are constantly shuffling things around to make room for something new. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking the inventory or talking to the people who drop by. It’s not a very corporate environment; we usually have some tea going and the desk is often covered in catalogs and mail. Sometimes the internet acts up, which makes it hard to send photos of the work, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started. It’s grown a lot busier outside, but inside we try to keep things calm. We don’t have any fancy marketing plans or anything like that. We just focus on the pieces we have and the people who come to see them. Some days are slow and we just spend the time dusting the frames and reorganizing the storage room in the back. It’s a bit of a maze back there, to be honest. We enjoy the work, even when it’s just doing the basic chores like sweeping the floor or fixing a loose hinge on the door. It’s our little corner of the city and we’re content with how it is. We just keep the lights on and the art up.
