Flatbook

You can find Flatbook over at No 961 in Sector 31. We are down on the lower ground floor, which stays nice and cool even when the sun is beating down outside. It’s a bit of a climb down the stairs, and the lighting isn't always the brightest, but it’s a good spot for us to keep track of all the properties we look after. The office is usually filled with papers, maps of the sector, and keys hanging on a big board. We spend a lot of time talking to people about where they want to live and what they can afford. It’s not a fancy real estate office with glass walls and expensive furniture. We have some mismatched chairs and a coffee machine that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. People drop in all the time to ask about what’s available in the neighborhood. Sector 31 is a big area, so there’s always something happening. We try to keep up with who is moving in and who is moving out. It gets a bit hectic when a lot of leases are ending at the same time, but we manage to stay on top of it. Our desks are usually buried under folders, but we have a system that makes sense to us. It’s a local business, run by people who actually live around here and know the streets.
