Fashion One

If you’re looking for us, we are at No. 1553/3 on Street No. 6 in Rajeev Nagar. It’s a narrow street, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. Most people just walk over. Fashion One is a small operation. It started in a much smaller room down the road before we moved into this space. It’s basically just a few of us here. We don’t have a big staff or a human resources department. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves with a toolkit we keep under the counter. The shelves are wooden, made by a guy who lives a few blocks away. They aren’t perfectly straight if you look closely, but they hold the weight. We get a lot of sunlight through the front window in the afternoon, which makes it hot, so we usually keep the fan on high. We aren’t trying to be the biggest name out there. We just like having a shop where the local folks can drop in. Sometimes we spend more time talking to customers about the weather than we do about the clothes. It’s a friendly place. We don’t wear uniforms. We just wear what we have. It’s practical and it works for the neighborhood. We’ve been here for years now and the routine hasn't changed much, which is fine by us.
