Our office is located over in Gurgaon, right in the 122001 zip code area. It’s one of those parts of town that never really seems to sleep, with all the glass buildings and the traffic that never ends. We spend our days inside, mostly staring at screens and making sure all the travel bookings go through like they are supposed to. It’s a big operation, but when you’re sitting at your desk, it just feels like any other job. We deal with people from all over who are trying to book hotels or flights, and sometimes things get a bit hectic when a website goes down or a flight gets canceled. Gurgaon is a strange place, one minute it’s all modern and the next you’re stuck behind a tractor on a side road. Our space is pretty standard—lots of coffee, some snacks in the drawer, and a lot of typing. We don’t have a shop front where people just walk in off the street, so it’s mostly just us and the security guards in the building. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, but we have a good group of people here who know what they’re doing. Even though it’s a big name, for us, it’s just the place we come to every morning to help folks get where they need to go. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but the AC keeps us from melting while we work.
