Ess Ess Chemtech is based out of a unit in Oakwood Estate, which is part of DLF City-2. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is good for the kind of work we handle. We’re mostly dealing with chemical supplies and technical stuff that goes along with it. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking specifications to make sure everything is right before it goes out. The office isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It might seem boring to some people, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. We’ve got a small group here who have been around since the start. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes shipments are late or there’s a mix-up with the labels, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just part of the business though. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s just a workplace where we show up, do the job, and go home. Being in DLF City makes it easy for people to reach us, and the directions are pretty straightforward. We keep things organized as best as we can, though some days the desks get a bit cluttered with samples and files. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We’ve been here a while.
