Our office is right in the heart of Pithoragarh, located at 14 Simalgair Bazar. Being up here in the hills of Uttaranchal is quite different from working in the plains. The air is thinner and the views are better, but the engineering work is just as tough, if not tougher, because of the terrain and the winding roads. Simalgair Bazar is a busy place, always full of people, vendors, and small shops. Our spot is right in the middle of that daily energy. We deal with the infra projects that are happening around this mountainous region. It takes a lot of planning to build anything up here, and this office is where all that thinking and coordination happens. It’s a practical space, maybe a bit cluttered with maps and site reports, but it works for us. We don't have a big corporate sign or a fancy lobby to greet people. People just walk in when they need to talk about a project or check on some plans. The weather can be a bit unpredictable, which often changes our plans for the day at the last minute, but that’s just how it goes in Pithoragarh. We’ve been here long enough to know the local suppliers and the best ways to get materials up the slopes. It’s a small, tight-knit group of us working here, just trying to make sure the roads and structures we are responsible for are built right and stay safe for the people living here.
