Electrical Designer

I’m an electrical designer based in Maruti Vihar, over in Charkarpur, Gurgaon. My workspace is at No. 1154A, and it’s basically where all the planning happens. Gurgaon has changed so much, and there is always a new house or a small office going up nearby. I spend my days drawing out where the switches, lights, and heavy appliances should go. It sounds simple, but you’d be surprised how much people worry about where their outlets are located. I use my computer for the drawings, but I still like using a pencil and paper to sketch things out first. The neighborhood here is a mix of people, and I’ve been in this spot for a while now. I don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Usually, a neighbor or a local builder mentions my name, and that’s how I get my next project. It’s quiet work for the most part. I have to stay focused to make sure I don't miss any details in the plans. Sometimes I go out to the sites to see how the work is progressing, but mostly I’m here at my desk with my coffee. Pincode 122001 is a busy area, but my little corner stays pretty peaceful. I just enjoy the logic of electricity and making sure it flows through a building in a way that makes sense for the people living there. It is a good way to earn a living without much trouble.
