We are based out of New Palam Vihar Phase I in Gurgaon. Our office is at B-50, which is a pretty standard building in this neighborhood. Gurgaon is always moving fast, with new buildings popping up every week, and we are right in the middle of it. We focus on infrastructure work, which basically means we deal with the heavy lifting of construction and planning. It’s not a clean job; there’s always mud on someone’s shoes and dust on the desks. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with laborers and suppliers. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, or a truck gets stuck somewhere, and we have to figure out a new plan on the fly. We don't have a fancy marketing department or someone to write pretty speeches. We just show up, look at the plans, and get to work. Most of us have been in this industry for years, so we’ve seen all the problems you can imagine. We don't pretend to be perfect, but we do try to be honest about how things are going. The office is usually loud with people talking and the sound of traffic from the street outside. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving. We just take things one day at a time and try to get the projects finished so we can move on to the next one. There is always something new to build around here.
