Setting up shop in Silver Oaks Apartments was a practical choice for us. Being in DLF City Phase 1 means we are right in the middle of everything in Gurgaon, which is helpful. Our office is at 121/44, and it’s a standard apartment setup converted into a workspace. It’s got a bit of a homey feel, which is actually quite nice compared to those huge towers nearby. The commute can be a bit of a headache for some of us coming from further away in Haryana, but once we’re inside, it’s a calm space. Dupont India has been here long enough that the security guards know us all by name. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will probably be on a laptop or checking some files near the window. There’s a lot of activity in this part of town, with people always rushing around. We just try to keep our heads down and get the work finished on time. The air conditioning is always on during the summer months because Gurgaon gets incredibly hot. We spend most of our time dealing with emails and making sure our records are straight. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like the local shops nearby for a quick lunch. It’s a decent place to spend the day working.
