Carry On Fashion Stores

Our shop is located inside the DT Mega Mall on the second floor, specifically at unit 263. Being in DLF City Phase I means it gets pretty crowded, especially on the weekends when everyone is out and about. Working in a mall is a bit strange sometimes because you lose track of whether it is sunny or raining outside. We spend most of our time under those bright fluorescent lights that stay on until the mall closes. The floor is made of that hard white tile that is easy to clean but tough on your feet if you are standing all day. We deal with clothes and fashion items, so there is always something to fold or move back to the right rack. People come in and out, some just browsing while they wait for a movie or a meal. We try to keep the place looking decent, though the fitting rooms usually end up with a pile of discarded hangers by the end of the shift. It is a lot of routine work, like tagging new stock or checking the inventory against the lists we get. The mall security guards walk by every hour, and we have our favorite spots nearby to grab a quick coffee. It is not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. We are just a regular part of the mall landscape, tucked away on the second floor among all the other stores.
