D.S. Gupta Construction Pvt. Ltd. is located in Sector 10 A over in Gurgaon. We are on the first floor of House Number 1274. Sector 10 A is one of those older, more settled parts of the city. It is not like the new areas with the massive malls. Here, it is mostly houses and small offices tucked away in the lanes. Finding a parking spot can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. Our office isn’t very large. It is just a standard floor where we have set up some desks and filing cabinets. We do a lot of construction management from here. There is always a stack of blueprints somewhere and someone talking on the phone about cement or labor schedules. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have a small staff, just a few of us who have been together for a bit. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. It is a decent place to work. We don't have big signs or anything flashy outside. Just a small plate by the door. We prefer it this way because it keeps things simple. Most of our day is spent tracking progress on various sites around the city. It gets noisy with the traffic from the main road nearby, but you get used to it after a while.
