Ds Group

We run Ds Group from our place in Model Town. It’s a good neighborhood, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the people on our block. We don't have a giant office with a receptionist or a fancy lobby. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone just picks it up and sees what’s needed. We do a variety of work, mostly focused on the needs of the local community. It’s a practical business for us. We don't spend our time in long meetings talking about abstract goals; we just look at what needs to be done today and go do it. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the paperwork or fix the equipment, and other days we’re running around until well after dark. Model Town is a central place to be, which makes it easy to get to different parts of the city. Our workspace is full of old folders, empty tea cups, and a few desks that have seen better days. We don't mind the clutter. It’s where we get the thinking and planning done. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to our families. There isn't a lot of mystery to what we do here. We take on jobs, we finish them, and we move on to the next one. Most of our clients come to us because they heard about us from a neighbor or saw our trucks parked nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do honest work.
