Our office is located on the 8th floor of Tower A, which is part of Building Number 5 in Cyber City. It’s a tall building and the elevators are usually pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their desks. We work in the commodities trade, so our days are mostly spent looking at numbers, talking on the phone, and keeping track of things moving across the country. Cyber City is a fast-paced place, and there is always a lot of noise from the construction or the traffic down on the streets. Even though we are up on the 8th floor, you can still feel the energy of the city all around us. We have a lot of desks pushed together and there is usually a lot of paper stacked up. It isn't a silent library here; there is always someone discussing a shipment or checking on a price in the market. We just focus on the logistics of moving goods from one place to another. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go according to plan, like a delay at a port or a truck getting stuck in a storm. We just handle it as it comes and try to find a solution. We aren't here to impress anyone with fancy talk, we just need to make sure the commodities get where they are supposed to go. It is a long day sometimes, but the work is steady and it keeps us busy from early Monday morning until Friday evening comes.
