Dlf-Laingorourke

If you find yourself in Saket, New Delhi, you might pass by where we work. We’re at G-46 on the second floor. Dlf-Laingorourke is what we call ourselves. Saket is a busy neighborhood with a lot going on, so there’s always noise coming up from the street. Our office space is pretty simple. We have a few desks pushed together and some shelves that are definitely overflowing with folders and old documents. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is, mostly. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at keyboards. The light in the office is a bit dim in the corners, but we have some desk lamps that help. It’s a small team here, so there’s no room for big egos or corporate talk. We just talk like normal people and get the work done. Lunchtime is usually spent eating at our desks or heading out to one of the local spots nearby. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door just gets up and opens it. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is pretty set now. Some days are slow and some are incredibly busy, but that is just the nature of the business we are in, and we just keep pushing forward with the daily grind.
