Dlf Laing O'Rourke

Our office is located at 5/8 Ma-1 in the Astha Apartments, which is in Sector-5 of Rajendra Nagar. Being in an apartment building in Ghaziabad makes the workplace feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office. Dlf Laing O'Rourke has its base here in Shibabad, and it’s a fairly quiet spot most days. We have a few rooms filled with desks and cupboards where we keep all the project documents. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down during the day. Sometimes you can smell what people are cooking for lunch in the building. It’s a very local vibe, far away from the big glass towers you see in other cities. We go down to the local market in Rajendra Nagar if we need supplies or just a quick snack. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the UP traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s a decent place to get work done. We don't have fancy signs or bright lights. Just a simple nameplate on the door. It’s practical and serves its purpose for what we do every day. There are always some boxes of old files in the hallway that we mean to move but never quite get around to it. It is just how things go here in Ghaziabad.
