Dlf Laing O’Rourke

Our office for Dlf Laing O’Rourke is over in Mayfield Garden, Sector-50. We are on the second floor of C-116. Gurgaon is always changing, with new roads and buildings popping up every week, but Sector-50 feels a bit more settled. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below. It’s a typical Gurgaon office space—functional and a bit cramped with all the paperwork we keep. We do a lot of the project management from this location. There’s always someone coming in from a site with mud on their boots. It’s not a shiny corporate headquarters. It’s where the actual planning happens. We spend our time looking at schedules and talking to contractors. Sometimes the water delivery is late, or the internet slows down when it rains. That’s just part of being here. The team is small, and everyone knows each other well. We eat lunch together most days. It’s a straightforward environment. No fancy coffee machines, just the kettle. We focus on getting the projects done on time. The building is easy to spot once you're in the Mayfield area. It’s a good location for us because it’s close to a lot of our sites. We just keep things moving along every day. There is always a lot to do, and we just tackle it one task at a time.
