You can find our office at B-47 in Sector 41, Noida. This part of Noida is mostly residential, so it’s a lot quieter than the industrial sectors or the big commercial hubs with their skyscrapers. The office is essentially a converted house, which gives it a more personal feel than a glass tower. We’ve been operating Dlf Laing O Rourke from this address for some time. There’s a small garden in the front that we try to keep tidy, though the dust from the road makes it hard. Inside, it’s a mix of desks, computer monitors, and stacks of blueprints. We don't have a formal dress code or a big board of directors hovering over our shoulders every minute. It’s just a few of us making sure the project schedules are met and the contractors are doing what they need to do. The kitchen in the back is where we usually hang out during our lunch breaks to escape the heat. Sector 41 is a nice area, and we like being here because it’s easy to get to for most people. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or glossy marketing brochures. Most of our work comes from being on-site and dealing with things face-to-face. If you stop by, you’ll probably find someone on a phone call or leaning over a table looking at a map. It’s a busy place, but it’s honest work. We just try to keep things moving forward every day.
