Dlf Group

Over here in Shiv Nagar, Gurgaon, the Dlf Group operates out of a fairly standard building. It is not the high-rise office culture you might find in other parts of Haryana. Instead, we are right in the middle of a local neighborhood where things are a bit slower and more grounded. We have a simple sign out front so people can find us among the other houses and small shops. The street gets quite muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time wiping our shoes at the door. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and some old metal cupboards for our files. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or ride their scooters to work. We don't have a fancy canteen, but there is a lady who brings homemade lunch for some of us. It is a plain environment where we just get the work done without any extra bells or whistles. Sometimes the street noise from the vendors is loud, but we are used to it. We handle a lot of the group's local tasks from this office. It is a practical location for us to stay connected to this part of Gurgaon. We keep a cooler in the corner for water and try to stay cool during the dusty summer months. The windows are usually kept shut to keep out the noise, but it gets a bit stuffy.
