Liberty Shoes Ltd.

Working at DLF Cyber City is a whole different world compared to other places. Our office for Liberty Shoes Ltd. is on the 2nd floor of Building No. 8, Tower B. It’s Phase II, so it’s right in the middle of all those tall glass buildings that look the same when you’re in a rush. The elevators are always busy in the mornings, and you see everyone holding their coffee cups and looking at their phones. We’re just one of many companies in this big complex. Our space isn't too flashy, just desks and computers and people trying to stay on top of their emails. It can get pretty quiet inside even though the city outside is loud. Sometimes we look out the window and just see more buildings and people moving around like ants. Lunchtime is when everyone heads down to the food courts or just walks around the pathways for some fresh air. It’s a bit corporate for some, but it’s where we are and what we know. We handle the business side of things here, away from where the actual shoes are made. It’s mostly paperwork and phone calls. Usually, the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even in the middle of summer. It’s a fast-paced environment but we try to keep things relaxed among ourselves. We just do our jobs and try to beat the traffic home.
