Anupal Fashions

Our setup is at M-3/58 in DLF City Phase 2. It’s a bit different from the busy market areas because this part of the city feels a bit more planned out. Running Anupal Fashions from here means we use a space that’s part office and part workshop, so there are always people coming in and out with samples. The street outside has some nice trees, and it’s usually quiet enough to hear the birds, which is a change from the main roads. Inside, we have long tables where we spread out the designs and check the stitching. We’ve been here for a while, so the neighbors know us by now. We don't really have a storefront where people just walk in off the street; it's more of a place where we get the actual work done. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of the latest batch of clothes. We drink a lot of chai throughout the afternoon to stay focused. The rooms are filled with the sound of scissors cutting fabric and the occasional hum of a fan. It’s a comfortable enough spot, even if the boxes start to pile up near the door when we’re especially busy. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of everything that needs to go out by the weekend. It is just our daily routine in a quiet corner of the city.
