Discovery Leathers Pvt. Ltd. is located over at No. 56 in the IDC area on Mehrauli Road. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial and gets quite dusty with all the trucks moving in and out. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. Inside our place, it usually smells like leather, which is something you just get used to after the first few days. We aren't into big marketing speeches or trying to look like a corporate office from a movie. Our desks are usually covered in samples and bits of hide, and there is always a fan humming in the background to keep the air moving. Mehrauli Road stays busy almost all day, so there is always that background noise of traffic while we work. We spend most of our hours looking over the pieces, making sure everything is where it should be before it goes out. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We don’t have a flashy entrance or a big reception desk with a bowl of mints. It’s just an industrial unit where we handle leather goods. Some days are slower than others, but we usually have enough to keep our hands busy. We like the location because it’s easy for the transport guys to find us, even if the road gets a bit jammed up during peak hours.
